The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The beds were super comfy, like sleeping on a cloud, and the homemade breakfast was a real treat, with delicious dishes served by lovely ladies. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main area of the city but tucked away on a quiet street.
While most of the staff were amazing, there was one person who made our stay rather unpleasant. It's a shame because everything else about the hotel was great.

Comfortable beds and cozy atmosphere. Homemade breakfast served by friendly staff. Great location, walking distance to the city center.
Average facilities and cleanliness. Lack of flexibility in check-in and lack of information about amenities.

The dorm room was cozy and clean, with a nice atmosphere. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The hostel had a beautiful garden and a peaceful ambiance, perfect for relaxing. The location was convenient, close to key attractions and amenities. it felt like a home away from home.
The standard double room we switched to was quite small, making it a bit cramped for us and our luggage. It would be great if the hostel could consider replacing the bulky wardrobe with some wall shelving or hooks to free up more space.

Beautiful garden-like atmosphere with tasteful decor and cozy ambiance. The hostel is spotlessly clean and provides towels and shower gels at no extra cost. The organized day tour to San Juan Chamula was enjoyable and offered a nice experience. Friendly and helpful staff, always ready to answer questions and provide recommendations.
Limited options for breakfast, not very satisfying. The location is a bit far from the main attractions and requires a longer walk to reach the center.

This hostel is located on a quiet, cobblestone street, just a short walk from the center. The private rooms with private bathrooms are small but cozy, with high vaulted ceilings and skylights. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The common room is equipped with a fireplace, computer, and books, and there is a beautiful courtyard with hammocks and a water well. Breakfast includes toast, eggs, fruit, cereal.
The location slightly outside of town may require a short walk or taxi ride to get to the main attractions.

I spent over two weeks at Posada Del Abuelito and felt right at home! The female dorm was cozy and spotlessly clean - the cleanest I've seen in all my travels. The staff, Nilly, Nancy, Cokie, and Ricardo, were incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade jam, toast, cereal, and made-to-order eggs. The posada had a lovely garden, perfect for relaxing and getting a good night's sleep. I can't wait to come back here!
I do recommend this hotel.
